Premier league, week 16, Chelsea losing ground, Arsenal go top

In week sixteen of the Premier League, Chelsea conceded a late equalizer at Stamford Bridge to continue their winless, streak, last defeating Fulham four games ago. If this is the best Chelsea can do their form of November will carry on till December as they play title rivals Tottenham, Manchester United and Arsenal and in-form Bolton wanderers. Chelsea did have captain John Terry and Michael Essien back but that wasn't enough as Drogba converted a penalty and Terry hit the crossbar. Meanwhile, in north London, Arsenal managed to go top with two magical goals from Samir Nasri, The pick of the lot being when dummying two Fulham defenders and calmly slotting past Mark Schwarser. Elsewhere, in Italy, A.C Milan extended their lead at the top of Serie A by beating Brescia 3-0 at the San.Siro with first half goals from Boateng, Robiniho and Ibrahimovic. Lazio kept up the heat with them though by beating Inter Milan 3-1, who now have the world club championship to compete. Juventus also won 3-1 at Catania with two goals from  Fabio Quaglariella and a late Chievo equaliser ensured them a 2-2 draw with Roma. In Spain Barcelona brushed past Osasuna 3-0 with a brace from Messi and Pedro getting his fourth goal of the season. Real Madrid kept up the pressure with two second half goals from Ronaldo to beat rivals Valencia 2-0. That's all for now, ad I'll publish next week's game round-up, including the all important London Derby of Tottenham against Chelsea and Manchester United against Arsenal!
